What We Do
How Our Model Works
We work directly with school administrators and educators to identify classrooms where additional food support can make a meaningful difference. Rather than spreading resources thin, we intentionally begin small. By supporting one class at a time. So we can deliver consistent, high-quality nourishment and measure impact responsibly.
Our approach prioritizes:
-
Regular, predictable food delivery
-
Fresh produce whenever possible
-
Minimal disruption to the school day
-
Privacy for students and families
Why Schools?
Schools are where children already are, every day. By partnering with schools, we remove barriers that often prevent families from accessing food assistance, such as: transportation challenges, limited time, or complex enrollment requirements.
Delivering nourishment through schools allows support to be:
- Accessible
- Consistent
- Familiar
- Trusted
This model helps ensure children receive food without being singled out or stigmatized.
What We Provide
Pagano Nourishment Project provides:
-
Weekly or recurring fresh produce distributions
-
Supplemental nourishment designed to support existing federal nutrition programs
-
Coordination with school staff to align with student needs
We do not duplicate services already offered by schools or government programs. Instead, we only strengthen or add to insure every student is fed and has the nutrition they need to thrive.
Looking Ahead
Ending child hunger requires many solutions working together. Pagano Nourishment Project plays one focused role: providing consistent, nourishing food. Supported through school partnerships. Where we all can make an immediate and lasting difference.
